The Profit Centre's Business Excellence Awards Program
The Profit Centre’s Business Excellence Awards program recognizes Broker Owners and Managers who demonstrate excellence in financial and operations management in real estate offices compared to their peers. This is a pioneering celebration of genuine performance within the industry. With this program, we aim to honour Broker Owners and managers who consistently pursue excellence by setting new standards and implementing best practices in real estate office management.
Selection Process
Performance is defined through a comprehensive review and analysis conducted by The Profit Centre using their exclusive Profit Analysis process. This process identifies key performance metrics of an office and compares them to peer data averages collected extensively. Key metrics are then weighted and scored to determine levels of excellence. The peer data average set the baseline performance level, equivalent to a 5 out of 10 on their performance calculator.
At least ten key metrics are used to calculate and define financial and operational performance. Each one of these key metrics is weighed according to its importance. For example, the Net Profit Margin weighs 35% of the total score.
Eligibility Process
There are three requirements to be eligible for the Business Excellence Awards
- Be a member of the Max Profit Group
- Have a certified Profit Analysis by the Profit Centre
- Have a calculation exceeding 6 points out of 10 to qualify for recognition
Presentation & Recognition
The recipients of the Business Excellence Awards will receive either a certificate of achievement or an award for Gold and Platinum-level accomplishments. They will also be recognized on The Profit Centre’s website, Facebook page, and the Max Profit Facebook community group.
Recognition Levels
A score of 6 to 6.99
A score of 7 to 7.99
A score of 8 to 8.99
A score of 9 to 10
Benefits Of Participation
Premium-Level consulting
All applicants will receive premium-level consulting based on our findings from their profit analysis. This information is used to provide clarity of their operations.
Award Recognition
All award recipients will be recognized by receiving a certificate or an award of recognition at ceremonies.

Award recipients have the opportunity to differentiate their business from their competition. Use the award in all marketing and promotional materials.
